Shira Yevin is reinventing how women are represented and received in the music industry. Only 21.6% of music industry professionals are female artists, 12.6% are female songwriters and only 2.6% are female producers. Gender equity in music is something we need to bring awareness to and move forward on. Women creatives and professionals need to be nurtured, supported and HIRED. And after meeting Shira… Melissa Ethridge, Joan Jett and Live Nation all agreed and are on board.
